Warwick Tips
Warwick is a relatively flat, left handed track that now stages only National Hunt racing. When considering Warwick Racing Tips, it is worth noting that the course tends to favour horses that like to race up with the pace. Warwick is deceptively tight and, despite five fences in quick succession in the back straight, the jumps are statistically among the easiest to negotiate in the country.
Trainer Dan Skelton tops our Warwick tips having been particularly successful over fences during the past three seasons. He has recorded an impressive 32% strike in chases as opposed to 17% over hurdles. Jonjo O’Neill is not far behind him in steeplechases with a 25% strike rate yielding a level stakes profit close to 100%.
Alan King does well numerically over fences but cannot match the 42% strike rate of Nicky Henderson. His hurdlers often feature among Warwick betting tips while Ben Pauling is 5 from 11 in National Hunt flat races over the same three-year period. Harry Skelton and Daryl Jacob are the jockeys to follow at Warwick and Nico de Boinville has made the most of Henderson’s successful raids to the Midlands track.
